About Jones Wellness

Transform your challenges into growth

Welcome to Modern Therapy Made for You

At Jones Wellness Center, we redefine mental health care by treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. Our integrative Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is grounded in a science-driven, evidence-based approach that nurtures the vital connection between your mind and body. We believe in addressing the complex interplay between your thoughts, emotions, and physical well-being to create lasting change.

Our approach is anything but clinical. With cozy spaces, small groups, and expert therapies like EMDR and somatic movement, we provide care that feels personal and impactful. Whether you’re attending our IOP, seeking an emotional support animal letter, or exploring our other services, you’ll find a supportive community dedicated to helping you feel better.

Personalized care for your mind, body, and spirit

Our Treatment Approach

At Jones Wellness Center we believe that full recovery is possible. We offer a tailored and comprehensive care approach that treats the mind, body, and emotions.

IFS is a transformative, evidence-based psychotherapy that focuses on bringing awareness to the hidden or suppressed parts of ourselves and working towards understanding, harmonizing, and integrating all parts of ourselves with compassion.

Somatic Experiencing is a body-centered approach to treating PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) that, rather than focusing only on thoughts or emotions associated with a traumatic event, expands to include natural bodily (somatic) responses.

EMDR is a structured therapy that focuses on a distressing memory and works to change the way the memory is stored in the brain, thus reducing and eliminating problematic symptoms.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a mindful approach that that helps you accept life experience without judgment, move forward in building a life you value.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is useful in treating intense mood disorders and suicidal ideation, as well as for changing unhelpful behavioral patterns such as self-harm.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) helps people learn how to identify and change destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on their behaviors and emotions.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a behavioral therapy that gradually exposes people to situations designed to trigger an emotional reaction in a safe environment. This process helps patients overcome their fears.

Meet the Team

Meet The Founder, Channing Jones

Hi there,

I’m Channing! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor primarily serving adolescents and young adults who struggle with anxiety and depression; impulsive behaviors including suicidal and self-injurious behaviors; eating disorders; negative body image; history of trauma; work stress; and life transitions.

My role is to empower clients to reclaim their sovereignty, overwrite old limiting beliefs, and reconnect back to their whole, authentic self.
My treatment approach embraces the relationship between the mind and body, understands the intricate role of the nervous system, and use an evidence-based approach towards healing that restores the whole individual by blending modern neuroscience, psychotherapy, and body-based treatment modalities that lend support, nourishment, and transformation in your healing journey.

From my heart to yours, if you are ready to embark on a radical journey of change, allow me to gently guide and support you as we bring your mind and body back to its natural state of being.

Germaine

I’m Dr. Germaine B. Hawkins, D.O., a General Adult Psychiatrist and proud U.S. Army Reserve veteran with over 17 years of experience treating adults and adolescents with neuropsychiatric conditions. In addition to medication management, I offer TMS for treatment-resistant depression and Micro Current Neurofeedback for anxiety, addiction, and other psychiatric conditions. My expertise includes bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and more.

Inger

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years in nursing and seven in psychiatry, I assess, diagnose, and treat mental illness in children and adults through medication and therapy. My journey through Prairie View A&M University and the University of Texas Health Science Center shaped my expertise, and my passion for helping individuals and families heal continues to grow. Outside of work, being a wife and boy-mom keeps me grounded.

Carly

Hi, I’m Carly! I'm a licensed professional counselor-associate under the supervision of Kim Harrington-Delgado, specializing in trauma, chronic pain, and ADHD. My approach integrates mind, body, and soul healing, combining somatic interventions with expressive arts to help clients find new ways to understand and express themselves. Somatic work explores how the body influences thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while expressive arts provide an alternative way to communicate when words fall short.
